About us

The owners of Point and Run Dog walking field are a husband-and-wife duo who have experienced the importance of having a fenced field near by to help with our canine friends. We have two German Short Haired Pointers (hence the name!) who have required completely different training, but both needed the facility of a fenced field.

Point and Run was established in response to the demand for a dog walking field in this area. The aim is to provide a safe, canine friendly environment for dogs and their owners to exercise, train and enjoy.

Why do I need to use a dog walking field?

General exercise

The field is a good size for all dogs with or without friends with plenty of running and sniffing space!

Dogs see the world via their nose, let them have a good sniff and explore!

Burn off energy

We know all too well with two gundogs that energy needs to be used!  

Training

Be a responsible dog owner and train your dog!!! There is a increased number of dogs that are not trained and owners are struggling to control their dogs. Use the field to optimise training opportunity and have a stress-free walk away from your pooches triggers.

RECALL RECALL RECALL – One of the most important training responsibilities that an owner has.

A space to learn some fun tricks or training such as retrieving and agility.

Nervous and fearful dogs will gain confidence with a field to themselves!
